Our core management team includes:

Malcolm McInnes – Managing Director

Malcolm’s 45 years experience in civil construction, forestry and farming operations is a highly valued resource and enables McInnes Earthmoving to undertake an extensive range of challenging projects. He is experienced in all facets of  business management and well educated in industrial relations policies. Malcolm prioritises the importance of delivering projects successfully in relation to quality, safety, environment and client satisfaction. He continually strives to educate the workforce through further training and development.

Andrew McInnes – General Manager

With 15 years experience in road construction and earthmoving Andrew liaises with client representatives and directs all supervisory staff and subcontractors. He completes all traffic management plans for roadwork projects and is in regular contact with statutory authorities including WorkSafe, VicRoads and the EPA. Andrew has enhanced his skill set by completing additional training in OH&S policies and procedures, Sprayed Sealing  Selection Design and underground installation procedures for Electrical  Infrastructure.

Stuart McInnes – Project Manager

Stuart fulfills his role as Project Manager with an adept knowledge of all forms of earthworks and civil construction derived from 35 years of industry experience. His exposure to a broad range of projects enables Stuart to organise staff, procure materials and employ subcontractors efficiently and effectively. Stuart is skilled at reading plans and ensures that all works are constructed to lines and levels. He manages staff on the ground and consults with supervisors, clients and the MD regularly.

Peter Breheny – Project Engineer

An extensive background in the field of engineering enables Peter to provide survey and set out on projects, ensure works are being constructed as per specifications and drawings, perform quality checks and complete as built drawings. Peter has 20 years experience as a civil engineer and has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and a Certificate IV in Business Management. He is highly skilled in the use of AutoCAD Professional with which he has designed many subdivisions and small road projects. Peter is also proficient in the operation and use of GPS and Total Station instruments.
